When's the last time you saw them being sold?
When's the last time you saw a Mexican sellin Rubik's cubes on the subway?
He was selling them for a dollar. Actually, the one's he was selling were called 'Magic Puzzle.' It was an offer I couldn't refuse. Magic puzzle indeed.
What is a Rubik's cube, really? It has different sides to it, different faces, different shades, it's simplistic until someone plays with it, turns it, twists it and fucks it up. It becomes warped, confusing, and time consuming. In the right hands though, it can be fixed, it can be made whole again. Symbolism?
